Transfer FAQ
Applications are completed online at here.
Any student who has already earned a high school diploma or a GED and has enrolled at a
college or University is considered a transfer applicant.
Transfer applicants must have completed a minimum of 12 college-level credits and have achieved at least 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
All applicants are considered for merit-based scholarship and will be notified if they qualify. In order to qualify for the *Keystone Honors Academy, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 along with at least 24 transferable credits.
In order to complete the application process, transfer students must submit transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions.
Cheyney University has rolling admissions. We will continue to accept qualified applicants until our class is filled. We strongly recommend that applicants submit their applications as early as possible.
Cheyney will accept up to 90 credits.
Housing is available for all accepted students.
We will begin to review and accept applications as soon as they are received. Decisions are made daily and applicants are informed immediately.
Final decisions are made after submission of a final/official transcript. All official transcripts must be submitted in sealed envelope or electronically via the Parchment, Naviance or National Student Clearinghouse systems. Faxed or emailed transcript are acceptable when submitted directly from your school counselor, signed and dated along with an official seal.
*The Keystone Honors Academy offer full room and board until graduation.
