Choosing the right college can be a complex decision — sometimes even after the choice is made. If you’re considering transferring, we welcome you to discover all that Cheyney has to offer. And we make it easy to work through the process.

  1. Submit an application for admissions. This can be completed online at Please indicate that you are applying to be admitted as a transfer candidate.
  2. Submit official transcripts from ALL previously attended post-secondary institutions. Transcripts are considered official if they have been sent directly from the institution(s) attended or submitted in an unopened, sealed envelope. Your transcripts may also be submitted electronically online via the Parchment / Naviance / National Student Clearinghouse systems.
  3. Submit your Advance Registration Deposit (ARD). Once all documents are received, along with the completed application, an advance registration free is required. This fee will confirm your attendance and reserve your space in the upcoming class.

Cheyney will begin to process your financial aid application as soon as it is received. To ensure that we’re able to process your application in an accurate and timely manner, please be sure to designate Cheyney as your first choice on your FAFSA form.

Cheyney’s school code is 003317.
