Mission

Sometimes, the challenge of earning a degree can seem insurmountable. But there’s a reason why students are accepted to Cheyney — we know they have what it takes to achieve that goal. TRIO, Cheyney’s Additional Student Support Services funded by the Department of Education, is designed to increase the retention and graduation of program participants. The TRIO SSS/STEM program serves 284 students, providing an additional and holistic layer of academic support and personal development that inspires students to actively participate in the successful completion of their education.
