Every design—whether print, digital, or social—should maintain strong contrast and legibility while adhering to ADA accessibility standards to ensure clarity and inclusivity.
Color in Cheyney’s Brand

Color is one of the most immediate and recognizable expressions of Cheyney University’s brand. Our color palette reflects our legacy, excellence, and resilience as the nation’s first Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Consistent use of these colors strengthens recognition, evokes pride, and ensures a unified visual identity across all platforms.
