Note: As stated in the Student Housing Agreement and The University’s Student Handbook, the University is
not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property while on Campus.
**While Renter’s Insurance is NOT required, all students are encouraged to personally consider the value of
their belongings when considering purchasing it for their specific needs. A standard Renter’s policy protects
your personal property, in many cases of theft or damage, and may pay for temporary living expenses if your
rental is damaged or unlivable. It may also protect you from personal liabilities.
