Many times, students travel a variety of different roads to arrive at Cheyney. Through special admission options that provide opportunities to begin, continue or accelerate their education we welcome these students in pursuing their interests:
Re-admission: Students who previously attended CU less than 7 years ago and did not take classes at another college or University during their time away from CU.
PASSHE Visiting Students: Students currently enrolled in one of the other 13 Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institutions who wish to take coursework at CU.
Non-degree/Non-credit: Students interested in taking coursework without seeking a degree, enrolled at another college or University and wishing to take coursework at CU, or interested in a non-credit program.
High School Access Program: Students who wish to enroll at CU in lieu of their senior year in high school. To be considered, applicants must be enrolled in a college- preparatory curriculum, rank in the top 10% of their class, and have scored 1000 or higher on the new SAT (or 18 or higher on the ACT). In addition to these minimum academic requirements, the Office of Admissions will assess the applicant’s motivation and maturity.
Individual Classes: High school students who want to take CU classes while in high school
