Aspire to Educate

Cheyney University is currently offering a five-week summer enrichment program, designed to inspire students to consider a career in Education. This free program is designed to introduce students to the rewards and benefits of teaching.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, in a joint effort with Cheyney University’s Education program, seeks to attract young minority men and women to Aspire to Educate (A2E). The A2E initiative aims to increase the number of students in teacher preparation programs, ultimately satisfying the Pennsylvania teacher shortage.
