The Character and Social Responsibility Program is designed to strengthen students’ sense of community, inform their values and prepare them to serve their communities as visionary leaders well beyond Cheyney.
The program aims to utilize the University values: Scholarship, Diversity, Integrity, Respect, and Service with the seven dimensions of the social change model of leadership: consciousness of self, congruence, commitment, common purpose, controversy with civility, collaboration, and citizenship to transform lives through character development, leadership education and service to the community.
