Donations to AREL

Donation Policy for AREL

A restricted tax-deductible donation can be made to support our research and activities by an individual or corporation. The check should be made payable to “Cheyney University” and in the memo portion of the check you should write “Aquaculture Research and Education Laboratory Program.” It also is helpful to have a cover letter which also states the intended purpose of the gift. The check and letter should be mailed to:

Cheyney University is tax-exempt but is not a 501(C)(3) organization. Gifts to CU are tax deductible but if the 501(C)(3) non-profit status is needed, then it must go to the Cheyney Foundation. Please contact Dr. Hughes directly and he will help you with the arrangements.
