As a student at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, you have the right and opportunity to participate in local, state, and national elections. Here’s what you need to know about registering to vote:
Who is Eligible to Register?
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You must be at least 18 years old on or before the next election.
- You must be a resident of Pennsylvania and your election district for at least 30 days before the election.
How to Register to Vote
Online:

- Visit the Pennsylvania Online Voter Registration portal: https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/
By Mail:

- Pick up a voter registration form from the Student Affairs Office or the campus library.

- Mail your completed form to your county voter registration office.
In Person:

- Register at the Chester County Voter Services Office or during on-campus voter registration drives.
Registering with Your Campus Address
- Students can register using their Cheyney University address or their permanent home address. Choose the address where you want to vote.
- If you use your campus address, include your residence hall name and room number.
