Executive Director of Student AffairsClifton Anderson
Senior Advisor & Chief StrategistClifton Anderson has been working with Cheyney University since August 2017 as a Senior Advisor to the Office of the President. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida A&M University. He advises the President’s Executive Leadership Team on organizational and financial strategy, organizational development, and cultural transformation.

Executive Director of Enrollment ManagementJeff Jones, Executive Director of Enrollment Management, joined Cheyney in June of 2018. He holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Delaware State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Illinois State University. His areas of responsibility include overseeing the management of the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar and Registrar offices, First-Year Experience, and Academic Success Center.

Provost & Chief Academic OfficerMs. Kizzy Morris, Provost & Chief Academic Officer, joined Cheyney University in 2018. She holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Bellevue University, where she graduated with honors. She is provides leadership in fulfilling the University’s strategic direction to strengthen the academic quality and excellence of the University.
Cynthia Moultrie
Executive Director of Finance and AdministrationCynthia Ashford Moultrie, Executive Director for Finance and Administration, joined the Cheyney University staff in 2012. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Administration from Antioch University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Lincoln University. Her areas of responsibility include providing leadership and direction for finance and administration functions and oversight for a team of support operations that includes accounting, budgeting, procurement, financial services, grants administration, scholarships, human resources, and information technology.
Erika Shehata
Executive Director of Institutional Research & CommunicationsMs. Erika Shehata, Director of Institutional Research, joined CU in 2012. She completed Master’s coursework in Research Methodology at the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She coordinates the submission of all state, federal, and regional compliance reporting and oversees assessment efforts to support institutional performance and student achievement.
Gregory Smith, EdD
Acting Associate ProvostGregory Smith, Acting Associate Provost, joined Cheyney University in 1998 as professor and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. He holds a Doctor of Education in Sport Administration and Master of Education in Sport Management from Temple University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health & Physical Education from Tennessee State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a tenured Lindback Distinguished Professor, former department chairperson, and president of the faculty union. His areas of responsibility are providing leadership for developing and achieving strategic initiatives, developing and implementing academic policies and instructor systems, Distance Education, supervision including training, goal setting, evaluation of faculty and staff performing duties in the Library, Academic Success Center, and Writing Center.
