As a service to our campus community, Cheyney University has installed Emergency Call Boxes at several locations around campus. These boxes connect directly to the Cheyney Police Department Communications Center, and are marked by a highly visible blue light that flashes for prompt assistance when the call button is pressed.
Emergency Call Boxes can be used for any kind of assistance, as well as for reporting incidents, including:
- Crimes
- Suspicious persons
- Lost, found or stolen property
- Medical problems
- Fire
- Directions assistance
- Personal escorts
