ARCHIVES & SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
The purpose of the University Archives and Special Collections is to promote Cheyney University, the nation's oldest institution of higher learning for African Americans, by acquiring, preserving, and describing historical records, images and artifacts relevant to its past. The University Archives and Special Collections were formally established in 1996.
The University Archives and Special Collections are open to the public, by appointment. Please contact the library concerning the availability of archival items and special collection books.
