Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education is a cumulative development program that provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate knowledge of and competence in applying the fundamental concepts of teaching students with cognitive, behavioral, and/or physical/health disabilities in grades Pre-K-8. A cumulative development program design provides an opportunity for students to complete a sequence of developmental levels in early childhood/special education through which the transfer of knowledge and skills is made possible.
Candidates for the B.S. Degree in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education are eligible to pursue teacher certification in grades Pre-K-8 through the Pennsylvania teacher certification testing program.
