Residence Life and Housing
The mission of Residential Life and Housing is to support the academic mission and educational program of the University through the provision of residence hall housing and to provide a clean, attractive, and well-maintained, convenient and safe living environment for students.
Residence Life and Housing is also responsible for dining services, camp and conference housing.The Office of Residence Life and Housing at Cheyney University plays a unique role in supporting the overall University’s mission by providing efficient and effective services that:
- Address students’ needs
- Offer a living-learning environment that encourages academic success, civic engagement, and intellectual development
- Build community
- Develop and prepare students as future leaders
We encourage students to become actively involved in campus life. This helps foster a comprehensive understanding of social, multicultural human issues, responsibilities through programming, cultural opportunities that enhance independence and self-governance.
Our office plays a vital role in collaborating with internal and external University partners to foster successful student transitions to the collegiate experience.
